PROTECTING MARINE LIFE THROUGH 3R'S

“The plastic we use once, tortures the ocean forever”

As this marine life environment provides priceless services and values for human well-being it's significant for us to make it non pollutant by using effective ways of managing the waste. Nowadays, plastic can indeed be seen almost everywhere. People go for this as it is readily available and affordable. No one, however, understands how destructive it is to our planet. To stop plastic pollution, we should first become aware of the impact. Kids should be educated to stop using plastic from an early age. And awareness programs should be introduced for adults.

Plastic pollution does have an effect on everyone on the earth, including people, wildlife, and marine life. It's spreading like a “dangerous disease with really no cure”. We must realize the negative impact it has on our lives to stop it as soon as possible.

Our water has been contaminated by plastic. Tonnes of waste are dumped into the ocean each year. Since plastic does not disintegrate, it remains in the water, polluting it. This means that in the coming years, we will be left without clean water.

Plastic pollution, beyond everything, has a devastating impact on marine life. Sea animals mistake the plastic litter in the water for food. They consume it and eventually die. A dolphin, for example, died after a plastic ring became stuck in its mouth. As a result, it was unable to open its mouth and died of starvation. Therefore, we can see how plastic pollution is slaughtering animals.

If we don't stop dumping plastics into the ocean. One day in the near future we can even create a trash island with the waste we are dumping into the oceans.

Each year, thousands of seabirds, sea turtles, seals, and other marine mammals die as a direct result of ingesting or becoming entangled in plastic. Nearly 700 species consume and get caught in plastic litter, especially endangered species like Hawaiian monk seals and Pacific loggerhead sea turtles.

The reality is that plastic takes a millennium to decompose. It is among the most destructive aspects of environmental pollution. Fish and wildlife are becoming intoxicated as a result. As a byproduct, plastic pollutants have infiltrated the food chain, creating a health risk to humans as well.

Wonder how that happens? Let me show you.

Consider those unheard victims as our equals. All creatures deserve a life free from fear and pain. Just stop exploiting them, they should be protected from suffering.

“We need to change the way we do things”

So, how can we use the above-mentioned 3R’s” for change in our environment?

REDUCE

Reducing the amount of plastic, we use is the best way to help the environment.
Recycling plastic is not efficient, only 9% of plastic ever produced has been recycled.so reducing the usage of plastic is important

There are lots of ways to do this.

  • Most of the waste comes from plastic bottles, so avoid buying water bottles. Carry your own water bottle.
  • Replacement of plastic bag with cloth bag.
  • Don’t throw plastic after usage, throw it only in the recycling bin.
  • Avoid using straws and cutlery. Starts using steel cutlery.
  • Get your own container for food packaging. If you're planning to get it from out.
  • Say no to pads & diapers, use cloth pads & menstrual cups.

By considering this as a serious issue “Bespoke plush” totally avoids plastic in packaging.

“We can proudly say that our company is ecofriendly”.

REUSE

Reuse is “finding a new use for them”.

After waste reduction, reuse is the second most popular waste management method.

The act of reusing a product in its present form repetitively is known as reuse. The basis of reuse is that it helps preserve all or some of the energy and resources used in making a product.

Empty food containers could be used to store leftovers, while plastic grocery sacks can be used to line trash cans or pick up after pets. And there are many DIY on the internet that you can follow.

“left-out fabric is reused for creating another product.”

RECYCLE

Collecting plastic and recycling them is a lengthy process. But recycling them is the only choice we have because plastic bottles are estimated to require approximately 450 years to decompose in a landfill. As we already know, even the percentage of recycling is also extremely low (8.7%).

Because plastic has limited value as a recycled material due to quality loss, it won't be long before it ends up in a landfill or as fish food. To avoid that Encourage the usage of recycled plastic and export them into new markets.

“Bespoke plush uses recycled polyester” for Plush toy making (recycled polyester comes from plastic recycling). We also use recycled polyester fiber for stuffed animal filling.

Now when the pollution has reached an alarming level, and the delicate balance of the environment is almost at the point of breakdown. It's your chance to give back to mother nature. Encourage eco-friendly products.

We are proud to announce that “Earth is at the heart of our mission.”
